“愛着の持てるカタチ、感情を込めたカタチ”を心掛けるデザインは、個性豊かでありながらどれも手になじみ機能的です。
学生時代にデザインや舞台美術について学び、家具工房で勤務した後、職業訓練校で鍛錬を重ね、2011年より“モノと結ぶ”＝「m o n o m」（モノム）として活動しています。

Masashi is based in his studio with gallery, which is part of a rustic old house, in Minano town, Chichibu county. Distinctive and functional design of his works centers on his concept that their shapes shall make people feel attached to them and be filled with emotion.
After he learned design and scenography during his student days, he worked at a furniture factory and then was trained at a vocational school.
Since 2011, he has been working as a woodcrafts artist under the name of “monom” which is a coined term he named combining the Japanese words “mono (things)” and “musubu (tying or connecting)”.
